- December 17 – Third Sunday of Advent and Chili Cookoff
- December 24 – Fourth Sunday of Advent – Childrens Program in the morning
- December 24 – Christmas Eve – 10:30pm
- December 31 – New Years Eve – First Sunday of Christmas
This Advent and Christmas we will be focusing on ALL of the characters of the birth story of Jesus. Often we focus on the main figures who show up in our Nativities – Mary, Joseph, the Shepherds, and the Magi. But this year we’ll also spend some time with other key characters – Elizabeth, Zechariah, the inn keeper, and even Herod, among others. Each has a key part to the story. By remembering all their stories, it reminds us of how this story is the story of and for all people.
Christmas Eve (12/24), there will be a service in the morning but that is the 4th Sunday of Advent. Our Christmas Eve candlelight service will be at 10pm in the sanctuary that night.
We will have our regular service on New Years Eve (12/31) the following week.
