What is Catechesis?
Catechesis is an ancient word that refers back to the process of learning and growing in the Christian faith. This process was rarely done by someone on their own, but instead in with others seeking to learn and grow together of what it means to follow the way of Jesus.

Join us for a shared time of community and faith formation for adults and youth co-sponsored by Christ Church-Ft Thomas, St John’s-Newport, and St. John-Bellevue.
Dinner will begin at 6pm each night and will be $5 per adult and youth/kids are free! The different tracks of activities will then begin at 7pm and will go until approximately 8:30pm.

Youth-Making This Faith Our Own
This track is for middle school and high school youth to dig deeper into faith, what it means, and how to live it. Led by Melanie Sorrell, director of Illumination Youth Ministry.
Adults – The Great Emergence
Join the late Phyllis Tickle leading us in examining the changing face of Christianity and culture. In this video series we will survey 2,000 years of Western Culture and identify the major upheavals that happen about every 500 years and we will look at what God might be doing in this next cycle of change. Led by Rev. Houston Hall.
Adults – Faith Foundations
Led by Rev. Keith Haithcock and Rev. Dr. Edward Goode, this group will be somewhat like an “adult confirmation” as we go through foundational basics of faith. This track is experienced best if you are able to commit to all 7 weeks (or at least most of them)
